— OUR TEAM —
the best and the brightest.
From settlement processors to closing agents, our people come to work every day with the desire to make a difference for our clients. And we’re fun to work with, too.
CORPORATE OFFICERS
With over 30 years of experience, we will make sure that even your most complex deal gets closed accurately and in a timely fashion.
Patricia Nicholls, President
patricia@metropolitanescrow.com
With almost 40 years of experience as a settlement agent, Patricia has performed more settlements than her computer has record of; since all they had was a fax machine and typewriter when she and Anita opened the doors to Metropolitan Escrow in 1984. Patricia’s years of experience and passion for doing what she loves are combined to bring exceptional skill to handling residential closings. Our clients and staff confidently rely on her unmatched knowledge of settlement procedures.
Patricia’s favorite part of her job is conducting closings because she enjoys being a part of such an exciting time in her customer’s lives. When she isn't working, Patricia loves spending time with her family, traveling to new places, and a good book.
Anita Lester, Secretary/Treasurer
Before opening up her own family-owned business, Anita worked for her father’s company in the accounting department. She has always been on the accounting side, but over the last 30 years has honed her expertise in the post-settlement process. In addition to being the sole member of the finance department, Anita is also the HR department, IT department, and maintenance department.
Anita looks at each new day as another challenge and enjoys accomplishing goals and hard tasks. Her meticulous attention to detail is appreciated by customers and employees; and is vital to the company’s success. In her spare time, Anita is an active member of her Church and enjoys scrapbooking.
Zana Petty, Closing Agent
Zana has been in the mortgage and real estate settlement industry since 1977. Her favorite part of the settlement process is partnering with her strong customer base to work with first-time homebuyers and real estate veterans alike as they navigate the purchase process.
In addition to being an organ donor advocate, Zana is deeply involved in the American Liver Foundation through fundraising and participation in the annual 5K walk. In her spare time, Zana loves sports, crafting, baking, and spending time with her family.
Jamie Polk, Closing Agent
Once graduating from the University of Tennessee, Jamie began working with Metropolitan Escrow in 1997. She quickly became conversant in the settlement process and has built many strong relationships with loan officers and real estate agents.
Jamie can be found at her children's sporting events or out with her girlfriends on the weekend. Jamie also enjoys participating in the yearly Undy 5K Run to raise awareness for Colon Cancer and Light the Night Walk with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Karen Suggs, Processor
Karen is detail-oriented and has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate and banking industry. Her favorite aspects of the processing position are client relationships, supporting the Metropolitan Escrow team, and providing guidance through the settlement process.
Outside the office, Karen loves spending time with her family. In the summer months she enjoys boating, but when football season starts in the fall she and her family will likely be at a football game either cheering on the Vols or the Titans.
Tameika Jones, Processor
tameika@metropolitanescrow.com
Hi, I’m Tameika Jones! Originally from West, TN, I made my way to Middle TN in 2000 to attend MTSU. In 2004, I graduated with a B.S. Degree in Political Science. My journey in real estate spans nearly two decades. It all began as a post closer with Bank of America. Over time, I climbed the ranks, serving as a Lead closer at Reliant Bank. Seeking a fresh challenge, I obtained my license and became a loan officer assistant and soon transitioned to the Title side of Real Estate. For the past 7 years, I’ve been an Escrow Officer/Processor/Post Closer.
Beyond my career, I’m a proud mom to a lovely teenage daughter. I cherish moments with family and friends, finding joy in life’s simple pleasures. Reading and working out are my go-to activities during downtime, and I’m passionate about exploring new places—both locally and beyond Tennessee. My goal? To continually expand my knowledge of the title world and gain valuable experience.
